Patreon Ending and Blog Updates
Check out Burn Bryte, an original science fantasy TTRPG I helped create for Roll20!
Hey all! Last week I announced that I accepted a full-time position at MCDM. I am so excited to make games with a company and people that I respect and admire every day.
This change also brings some updates to the content I am creating on this blog and through Patreon.
First things first, my Patreon is shutting down. You shouldn’t get charged today. I’m going to leave it up for a bit for people to grab any content they want, and then I plan to unlaunch the page on November 1st. I will still post some material that appeared on the Patreon over her.
Second is that weekly updates from this blog will stop by the end of the year. The blog will stay up and stay active. Expect me to post announcements, ideas, and other thoughts here, but I won’t be sticking to the weekly schedule I’ve had for the last seven years.
I know all of this is bittersweet, but I am so excited to shed some responsibilities and roll up my sleeves to make the best TTRPG products I can. I’ll be able to focus and do deeper dives into the products I create and spend more time with my friends and family. I hear they are very good people and would like to find out for myself.
Fear not! I’ll still be posting on Twitter all the time, I’ll contact folks through my mailing list, and this blog is only slowing down, not stopping. As for me, I’m just getting started. Before the end of the year, you should have some more updates from me about several new Burn Bryte products, a finished version of My Dad’s Monster Manual, and a few other cool surprises.
If you like what you’re reading, please follow me on Twitter, like World Builder Blog on Facebook, sign up for my mailing list, find my products on the DMs Guild and DriveThruRPG, tell your friends about the blog, and/or leave me a comment and let me know you think. Thanks!
